THE BRIEF
A couple in Virginia, wanted a grand, elegant space to entertain their friends. They wanted a British design but their contractor or designer was unable to come up with the right inspiration and so, they contacted Baruchi with a concept for British Metallic Sophistication.
THE DESIGN
The design concept combined influences from the couple’s lifestyle, taste, and needs. They wanted a grand space, which would be used to entertain their homes and house their collection of wine. They have a love for gold – and so Baruchi used gold-colored faucet, handles, and kickplates- providing a warm and rich color. Set against the rich walnut material to create an inviting and elegant space for their home.
A Sub-zero wine cooler was specified in this project as well as a large dominant sub-zero fridge freezer.

THE FINAL OUTCOME

PURE PREP
First, we wanted to make it easy for the couple to cook together. So, we designed this rich prep space. Overall, it’s ergonomic and beautiful.

WALNUT TALES
Next, we felt a rich walnut played with the brighter metallic tones. And we used it liberally in the cabinetry. This added a real depth to the space.
GLITTERS IS GOLD
For this British Metallic Sophistication palette, gold was the star. And we used it wherever we could to add warmth and luxury.
