THE BRIEF
Baruchi worked with a property developer on a 4-bed new build. Their goal was to establish an exquisite and refined climate that radiates contemporary elegance. As a modern interpretation of a Georgian classic, they needed Modern Wood Cabinetry to blend seamlessly.
THE DESIGN
Baruchi wanted to bring a modern style with classic traditional touches to life by focusing on key design elements and warm colors. Scandinavian micro shaker cabinet door style paneled appliance doors with emphasis on as much uniformed storage as possible inherently took away clutter. But we mixed open and closed elements within the Modern Wood Cabinetry. This added interest and warmth. We added mixed hardware finishes including a chrome faucet and Aluminium French Doors.
It was important to incorporate the kitchen area into the dining area with ease. So, we added a dominant extractor to counter the visual weight of the back wall. This was a nod to rather more traditional kitchens. And it accentuated the space in a rather unexpected way. The simple detailing allowed it to blend perfectly with the modern aesthetic of the home.
Next, we were able to incorporate intelligent organization options. This worked by placing an integrated fridge and integrated freezer, a butler’s pantry, and plenty of storage in the back tall units. We topped it off with a dominant WOLF stove, WOLF hood, and waste disposal bins directly beside the sink.
Finally, we finished with a quartz countertop with a small upstand and chrome taps. The result is a light and spacious family kitchen buyers will clamor for.

THE FINAL OUTCOME

WOODEN WONDERS
We allowed the cabinets to speak in this design. The modern style, mixed presentation, and soothing colors made good use of the high ceilings.

OPEN PLAN LIVING
Kitchen-to-living flow was critical. It’s a desirable feature for most modern buyers. So, we introduced aluminum french doors to the kitchen design. In general, this created that suggestion of more space.
UNIVERSAL APPEAL
As a development new build, we needed to ensure the design appealed to as many buyers as possible. So, we kept the colors warm and the finishes modern. Overall, our goal was a timeless design that’s still immediately desirable.
