THE BRIEF
The client, a true fashionista, wanted a piece of art as her kitchen. For her Georgian home, we designed a raw, eclectic kitchen that spoke to our client’s artistic side.
THE DESIGN
Wanting to update her kitchen, the design concept combined the client’s love for raw materials and a desire for her kitchen to be a piece of art. Plus, we needed to create a peaceful space for her to escape to.
The island provided plenty of storage from both sides. To resonate with the client’s stylish taste- Baruchi used glass as a counter to create a cool and reflective surface. We also used a glass gas hob. The extractor hood is circular in shape and in stainless steel. Overall, it acts as a piece of art in the middle of the room. The stainless-steel material was also used in the ovens, sink, and faucet.
Lastly, to complement the other materials- the room was accessorized with copper chairs. This provided a reflective and warm balance to the room.
THE INSPIRATION
THE FINAL OUTCOME
STAINLESS STEEL PERFECTION
The stainless steel extractor hood sang within this space. First, as a functional piece of equipment and next as an artistic installation. Overall it’s the core of the Raw Eclectic Kitchen’s design aesthetic.
COPPER WARMTH
Next, we used copper accent furniture to warm up the space. Too much glass and steel can look cold. So these elements toned down their harshness.
